Moodle is a Course Management System (CMS), also known as a Learning Management System (LMS) or a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). It is a Free web application that educators can use to create effective online learning sites.

As a specialist Business and Enterprise College, Treviglas is committed to introducing new and exciting teaching methods and to providing our students with the latest learning tools. In January 2007 we embarked on an exciting project to introduce a cutting edge VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) for our students and staff to use. We are using Moodle as our VLE as it is an open source package widely used by schools, colleges and universities.
